ARRL Field Day 2015

Friday afternoon, June 26th, setup began at Cluff Pond 3 for the Eastern Arizona Amateur Radio Society 2015 ARRL Field Day Exercise. Dan’s 20M Moxon Beam was deployed on the mesa again this year as was the 5BTV vertical. Across the road in the parking lot the 40M/80M fan dipole, along with a folded double Zepp, were deployed from the bus mast to provide plenty of choice in antennas.
Internet was made available thanks to the HSMM Mesh Nodes of Wendall, W7WGW, and
Dan, AF7EF. Besides using the mesh nodes to Network N1MM logging for Field Day, Wendall, W7WGW demonstrated the use of the mesh nodes networking capability to look in on a live camera at his QTH 10.5 miles away.
