ARRL Field Day 2019
Eastern Arizona Amateur Radio Society (EAARS) Field Day 2019 was held at a pond 1 mile west of Pima AZ, approximately 1/4 mile South of Highway 70 off Patterson Mesa Rd.
We had 17 participants all together with a visit from the Town of Pima Mayor C.B. Fletcher and Brian Douglas of Graham County Emergency Managment. We operated as a 2A station with Dave N7AM operating PSK and CW, Dan AF7EF and Don KJ7GEB Taking turns sharing the Phone Station, Wil K7EMU operated our talk in on 146.46 and manned the information table and greeted visitor. EAARS member/visitors besides those already mentioned included Joseph WG7JOE and his wife, Penny KB7CSE, Wade K7KOZ, Sue K7KIZ, Claude KF7LVD, Elmer KF7UFK.
Other Visitors include Drennan KG7AET, Jeffery K5BOR, Arvin Winters, Daniel Jeffrey and Dan AF7EF’s Grandchildren 10 yr old Caylun, and 17 yr old Dakota who helped setup and tear down.
